They are too small to have an actual influence on the American economy--besides, perhaps, saving the expenditure of a jet or something like that. When you consider how far this country is actually in debt (which is relatively impossible), Obama's overly publicized budget cuts seem like a cruel joke. I watched an interesting video on the differing opinions on this issue at newsy.com earlier.
